QUEEN + PAUL RODGERS: ‘LET THE COSMOS ROCK’ CONCERT HITS VUE CINEMAS ONWORLD AIDS DAY Vue Entertainment are giving fans across the UK the chance to see aspectacular one off charity concert featuring Queen & Paul Rodgers insupport of an AntiAids campaign. ‘Let the Cosmos Rock’, will be screened at 39 Vue sites across the countryfor one night only on World Aids Day, Monday, December 1st, 2008. The concert drew a record audience of 350,000 people and was captured forthe big screen by award winning film-maker David Mallet. Filmed in highdefinition with 5.1 surround sound, the sound and visuals are of thehighest quality available in cinemas today. Queen + Paul Rodgers made a special trip to Ukraine on September 12th 2008to play a two and a half hour free concert in Kharkov’s Freedom Square inpartnership with The Elena Franchuk ANTIAIDS Foundation. The band wanted tosupport the cause whose message “Don’t let AIDS ruin your life” has specialmeaning for them after lead vocalist Freddie Mercury lost his battle with the virus.
